After a wonderful day of sightseeing, I almost had a mental breakdown at Hua Lamphong Station when ALL TRAINS DOWN to Phuket/Krabi were sold out.
Such stories. Anyway, currently enjoying my green curry at the hostel with bus ticket in hand.

How my kids get me to cry during class
Student #1: **** Teacher go America?
Me: Yes. **** Teacher is going to America.
Student #1: You go too?
Me: No.
Student #1: You want go?
Me: Yes.
Student #2: Why?
Me: Well, I miss America. I miss my mom. I miss my dad, I miss my sister and cousins, my friends...
Students: .....
Me: Imagine being away from your mom for one whole year. Wouldn't you miss her?
Student #3: And your friends and mom miss you too.
Me: Yes.
Student #4: I think you very sad.
Me: Why?
Student #4: Because you here no family and it's hard.
Students: (nodding heads) Yes, very hard.

Amazing how my desire to run this town dies...
Left both (!!) iPods at school while in a hurry to sneak out and make it to a post office on Friday (Christmas packages sent! Hooray!).
As a result, I have only left the apartment for dinner with a friend and LotteMart. This Sunday afternoon means lots of baking, cooking, cleaning, and crafting.
Domestic for the win.
